I wish I had a million dollars for every single time that I've seen someone's hard work, money and time wasted...
Because they thought saving money on the purchase was the best idea...appliances, barbecues, clothing...you name it.
Or in this case, Natural Stone and Armour Stone.
When we buy something on impulse, or because it was cheaper than the other products & services we usually (if not ALWAYS) get what we pay for.
Fridges breakdown, barbecues fall apart and rust, and clothing tatters and falls apart...well, it should come as no surprise that natural stone will do the same, if we are buying blast products.
I mean, let's face it; Quality costs money. When we invest our money in items of value, workmanship and care we get something that lasts.
Conversely, if we try and nickel and dime something that should be a major investment, and we are only trying to save money; it can come back and bite us.
Natural Stone is no different. I've seen small garden lining walls, large retaining walls, as well as just single decorative stones that were obviously extracted by blasting, simply crumble and fall apart.
The fractures, micro-fissures and vertical cracks that result from the concussive force of blasting will become a haven for frost, and water.
When that water freezes, it begins to push apart the stone, and before you know it you no longer have a beautiful rockery, waterfall, or retaining wall....
You've got gravel.
Which, if you wanted gravel, great.
If you were looking to make a once in a lifetime investment into the beautification and value of your property however; not so good...
At M & M Stone, we only focus on one thing: 100% PEELED Armour Stone and Natural Stone products.
We don't like to waste our time and money, and the last thing we would ever want to do, is to waste yours too.
What do you think? What have your experiences been? We'd love to hear from you!
